Comparing the actions of ISIS (which claimed that it has established a caliphate) to the Rightly Guided Caliphate shows that they act according to ill scheme to distort the concept of the Caliphate and the legacy of Muslims and to sever the bond between Muslims and the moderate teachings of their religion. The rightly-guided caliphs did not kill civilians, drive people out of their homes and lands, declare Muslims unbelievers, breach their covenants with followers of other faiths, enslave women on the pretext of apostasy and disbelief, sell the antiquities of the lands they seized, nor they destroy civilizations. On the contrary, they contributed to the welfare of humanity. They did not confine women to their homes, but rather they encouraged them to seek knowledge and work. All claims raised by the advocates of this terrorist group are but a pack of lies and fabrications which can be easily figured out by people of reason.
